Took a nice morning hike on the trail. Had the kids with me, plus one of their friends. Was nice and pleasant. We didn't see any critters this time. Not sure why, the weather was good for it. I did get the chance to teach my young twins and their friend how to pull and use young palmetto chutes for food. That was nice. Also had the chance to show them a few things about how to tell "which way the snake went" by his track. Even though there was no wildlife to see at the time, it was well worth it spending time with them and being able to teach them some things.
