| no partners | | Decided to head out and hit the trail around 7:30am before it hit 90 degrees. It was relatively cool. The trail was heavily trafficked and I would say we passed maybe 40 fellow hikers in the short distance of this hike. Went to the alternate summit, took a few pictures with Shelby and headed back down. |

| no partners | | Decided to hike Constellation trails system across from the museum after hiking Flume by the dam yesterday. There was less shade than I expected. We took the longest loop around the mountains possible and reached both summits. It was easier than expected. The only complaintwas that it was hot by 10am, we initially planned on going at 7am to avoid this, and there wasn't shade on the way up or down except one spot near the summit. |

| no partners | | This is one of my favorite hikes in the Prescott Area. Decided to go after not attending for a few months. It is so very well rounded and provides a great amount of shade the entire first half of the hike. I have never connected it with anything else except exploring the Dam area in plain sight of the trail.
Took a friend for a leisurely hike to keep the activity level up. Today was about 102degrees at it's peak but mid 90's when we got there @4:15pm. Finished in about 45 minutes. |

| no partners | | Decided to come back because this is a great and quick hike. Same route at the last time in circling from #444 -> #305 loop -> #442 and back to #444 to finish and go down the hill. |

| no partners | | Headed out after doing this trail in the past. Started on Gold Pan Trail #444 and decided to attach to the #446 loop, connected to the Homestead Trail #305 loop and onto the #442 loop until hitting #444 again. Seems much more complicated than it really was now that I am writing it on paper.
Perfect weather. The water is just pools right now with no real flow coming from the dam that overlooks the trail. |

| no partners | | Decided to head out with some friends and some of Shelby's family on this trail. Her aunt accompanied and had done it with a mountain bike before. We had a friend who was not fit for this hike and out of shape. A little under a half mile from finishing, she saw the nearby road and deviated off of the path to it. Took us an extra thirty minutes to locate her and regroup to finish the hike.
The first three miles to the summit are not that hard in all honesty. The only part I even found myself winded on was the end stretch to the summit which was maybe a tenth of a mile.
Bring food for the summit to keep energy up and plenty of water if you plan on taking this hike. It is beautiful and seemingly safe. Rocks create blisters for the unprepared. |

| no partners | | Headed out the back way to start and down the pavement. Perfect temperature as always on the backside of the mountain and just the right difficulty for a brisk workout. |
