Great hike to mountain lakes. First time here....Beautiful! First on trail for the day, left about 8 am. Explored and took pics around lower lakes and then hiked up to Ptarmigan. Be sure and bear right after lower lake on right to continue trail to Ptarmigan Lake... several hikers were searching for trail there.

Great hike to Horton Spring...beautiful day. Started hike at 7:30 am and saw no other hikers until on way back to vehicle. Took breaks, pictures, and easily back by noon. Love hiking when water nearby and butterflies galore.

Parked near campground on F300, hiked down hill and to other end of trail and back, so in/out. Nice day and met no one on trail.
