20 mile hike across South Mountain. It's only 16 miles, so we did a dog leg down the Kiwanis Trail to make up the difference. Up to the first 10 miles it was not bad, but the last half hurt. The trail on the west end of South Mountain is not as well traveled, as you can imagine. It is a little more narrow, and until you come off the mountain it is fairly rocky. Make sure to stop and check out the two mine openings as well.
