This trail was lovely in the morning. We got there around sunrise and there wasn't too many people out. The views were amazing and the trails were super fun. Very mountain bikey trails, and lots of mountain bikers out after the sun came up. Beautiful flowers and plants and mostly shaded if you get there early.

Boulder Canyon trail was beautiful on this gorgeous winter day. We had quite a bit of cloud coverage and the scenery was outstanding. At around 2.5 miles we turned around because the pup was tired, however this trail keeps going for another 5.5-6ish more miles. Family friendly and dog-friendly. I also spotted lots and lots of flowers, plants and even some Big Horn sheep on the drive out (but really close to the trailhead). The drive itself out to the hike is lovely and windy.

Beautiful preserve and great for dogs, easy walking paths, benches and signage. The Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch has so many trails to choose from. Some of the trails lining the major streets are quite loud, however if you walk into the preserve it's quiet, besides the sounds of birds and water. Bring a bird guide if you want to get the most out of your visit as the Riparian as many species of birds and other wildlife. My dog loves this place as there is so much to sniff and lots of other dogs. There are bathrooms that are clean and well serviced. Parking is ample and the library is right at the corner, so it's a great option for a family morning. The water is not potable as it's reclaimed so don't let your dogs drink the water.

Beautiful hike, *I only did a PORTION of the perimeter trail* I went coutner clockwise and in hindsight might have gone opposite so the latter part of the hike was more shady. Beautiful views minus the small part with the 202. Not too much elevation change but a great workout and scenery *nevertheless*

Great hike with incredible views, the beginning is rough as it's a sand wash and slightly uphill, once the ground hardens it is a lot more enjoyable! Beautiful views all around of several mountain peaks, I suggest you bring a hot nerd to tell you all about them if you can.
