| no partners | | Did this hike as part one of a full day, 3-part hike that took me on the Esperero trail to Cathedral Rock (part 1), down the West Fork trail to Hutch's Pool and Sabino Basin (part 2), then back out to the start via Sabino Canyon (part 3). Total trip was a little over 23 miles and I did it solo in 9 1/2 hours.
The most beautiful section by far was the first section which included the Esperero Trail to Cathedral Rock. Gorgeous, expansive views and a great trail. Steep in sections, flat in others and just challenging enough to keep you going. |
