This was a great one!

We caught the first shuttle of the day, exiting at the Grotto stop, like most folks on the bus. They were all headed to Angel's Landing, while we had a bigger adventure on our plates. Shouldering our packs and heading up the trail, it was a constant stream of questions. Some people wanted to know more, while others seemed downright terrified when we described what we would be doing.

Fun canyon with plenty of nice rappels. The rappels were varied, as was the canyon itself, making for a good day out there. Great, amazing views of the main Zion canyon from the last and 2nd to last rappels.

Much of the hike up we were in full shade, thanks to the early start :D Really, the weather all day was pretty delightful for mid-June. So far as we were on trail, the path is in good shape up to Scout's Lookout.
