Moisturize Regularly by pseudalpine OverviewAn east-west orientated connector trail located in the central part of the McDowell Sonoran Preserve North (MSPN). The east side of the Dry Gulch Trail transects the Cholla Mountain Loop two-tenths of a mile south of Cathedral Rock[1]. The west side junctions with the Corral Trail. Synopsis Another generic northern McDowell Sonoran Preserve track that gently rolls through this bouldery high desert. This trail would be utilized as the most direct approach to the west side crags of Cholla Mountain (e.g. Birdland Area, Defoliation, Jacob's Wall and The Far Side). [1]Endnote: Cathedral Rock was likely renamed from what climbers initially referred to as Indian Rocks, but more investigation would be needed to confirm this information accurately.
