Cottonwood Saddle Trail #386 - Whetstones is a 2.2 mile one way hike with 1,027 feet accumulated elevation gain. Located 20 miles west-northwest of Tombstone Arizona. The trailhead is car accessible. March and November are the best months to enjoy this hike.


Overview: Seldom traveled spur trail off the Guindani Trail which continues up Guindani Canyon then climbs gently to Cottonwood Saddle between Cottonwood Peak and East Peak.
