Red Mountain - Patagonias is a 7.85 mile round trip hike with 2,194 feet accumulated elevation gain. Located 40 miles west-southwest of Tombstone Arizona. The trailhead is car accessible. March and November are the best months to enjoy this hike.
Overview: Walk up a jeep road (FR 4649) to visit a currently inactive Fire Lookout Tower. Road is gated approximately .3 miles from the summit.

This is a moderately difficult hike.
Gate Policy: If a gate is closed upon arrival, leave it closed after you go through. If it is open, leave it open. Leaving a closed gate open may put cattle in danger. Closing an open gate may cut them off from water. Please be respectful, leave gates as found.
