First .25 mile follows along a good forest service cattle road. Last .25 mile becomes very faint as it leads east to Helldive canyon. A short hike up the small canyon takes you to the spring & springbox.

    To hike
    From Safford, head south on U.S. highway 191. Turn west onto state highway 366 (Swift Trail). Follow highway 366 for approximately 6.5 miles. There is a 1 vehicle pull off to the right along the Swift Trail or you may park at the start of the forest service road to the left (please do not block the forest road going down). Trail starts north up the hill.
