    To hike
    From Safford, head south on U.S. highway 191. Turn west onto state highway 366 (Swift Trail). Follow highway 366 for 4.0 miles to milepost 117.6. There is a small dirt pull off spot on the left side of the highway. Walk .07 miles up the Swift Trail and take the old dirt jeep road to the left down to the dam.
