The trail begins 7.5 miles up Ingalls Creek Trail #1215 and proceeds to wind and climb across meadows, streams, and forested areas. There are several clear, flat campsites, which are close to accessible water, near the top of the trail. The trail ends at County Line Trail #1226, which is also at the Alpine Lakes Wilderness boundary.
