The Cascade Creek Trail is 2.7 miles long, gains 2300 feet of elevation, and is primarily used by hikers. This trail, which is within the Alpine Lakes Wilderness, is steep, narrow, and extremely brushy, and eroded in places.
Because of trail conditions, stock use on Cascade Creek Trail is not recommended; however, horse feed is available.

The trail begins 7.5 miles up Ingalls Creek Trail #1215 and proceeds to wind and climb across meadows, streams, and forested areas. There are several clear, flat campsites, which are close to accessible water, near the top of the trail. The trail ends at County Line Trail #1226, which is also at the Alpine Lakes Wilderness boundary.

To hike The trail begins 7-1/2 miles up the Ingalls Creek Trail #1215 and ends at the County Line Trail #1226. The Ingalls Creek Trailhead is located 7 miles South on Highway 97 from the junction of Highway 2.
