Re: Hiking vehicles

@chumley
Don't think the Queen needs any help! However, British vehicles in late 20th century certainly need huge amount. Never owned one, prob never will!
First vehicle was a 1970 Chevy Monte Carlo with an 8 track :) @LosDosSloFolks

Perhaps he missed the turn to Brush spring and went down the hill to Fuller seep?

Re: Doll Baby TH to LF Ranch, River Route

I think the shortcut is visible on satellite view: just east of Tub Draw / Mine Road Spring. Goes straight north down to river and then go along the river.

Don't think FR 25 has been closed since 2013. Just stay on FR 25 all the way to Mormon Grove.

Re: City high points

It's definitely in desert mtn.
I have an older TNF map that shows this was TNF land but they sold it for development. A bit sad but inevitable

Re: City high points

I was lookking at the TNF map. Trail #287 goes west of bronco to China wall. If you see a trail from bronco it is new and is most likely a desert mtn trail. However I agree with your final point.

You can get there from Bronco Butte (longer) or from Old Mine Road in Tonto Hills (shorter):

Grew up in South Cumbria and sailed to IOM often (Ramsey, Port St Mary, Port Erin...)
Laxey to the summit x2 would be ok training except it is not at altitude.
