Went up My. Peeley road last Saturday and there were 4 sections that had hard packed snow and ice .1 long section that wasn't bad going up dam near gave me a heart attack when I didn't have control going down .

If you do west fork be there early cause the parking lot fills quick was there at 9am last week and still had problems finding a place to park along the road

There are 3 camping spots that are a stones through away from the lake and several more that are a little farther back from the lake .

Knoll lake from the tonto hatchery is a nice one you don't have a stream but you get a nice lake or the cabin loop is another good one with lots of water right now

I was just up at Rogers trough yesteday and we took my buddys Silverado and we didnt have any problems geting to the trail head but the road is in pretty bad shape but you dont need to worry about getting stuck but like what has been stated the road gets much rougher after the turn to woodbury T.H.

Yes pinon camp has a couple fire rings and a few flat spots to camp and is the closest spot I know of before you head up the slope to the needle. You will probably have to bring your own water the creek only has water after a good rain .

There will be one spot that has washed out a little you may have to creep over but it should be fine I saw a mini van out there last time

You should be able to make it to the first trail head no problem . my friend followed me out there in his civic a few years back

I have read them I know it will be steep with a hard to follow trail . the downed trees don't bother me its the walls of cat claw and manzanita that I want to try and avoid .

I was thinking of doing a loop hike starting on the North peak trail to Mazatzal divide TH and then take Pole Hollow back to the North peak TH. My map shows Pole Hollow as a non maintained trail. fair warning if you do Christopher creek gorge when you encounter the fence that goes across the creek by the ranch you can go pass it the signs are wrong you are not trespassing ! they are breaking the law by putting the fence through the creek .
