Signing-off

I do not wish to erase what I've posted in the past, my only regrets are not being more direct in my opinions, to have overly concerned myself whether or not others agree, and to worry if others have had their feelings hurt or not. I have a right to my opinions, so let me clarify and summarize: 1. N...

Not holding back, I wasn't there either. But perhaps telling him to leave might have been a good start. That's what road rage is all about, I cut someone off, a mistake, I'm sorry; the response? he runs me off the road, or shots are fired. The law, and I suppose moral character allows a metered resp...

Yea Wiz, Nothing like threatening to cut someone with a knife to put a stop to that naked stuff, the nerve of those wankers anyhow. The sight of naked human flesh freaks me out too, I hear you man! I got the kids to stop riding their scooters on my street with a few well placed sticks of dynamite, a...

Monte, You have included simply being nude in with drunkeness, public urination, and lewed behavior. That is a tremdous leap of faith, and reminds me of the probation hearing in "Animal House." It's as if your agrument of nudity isn't strong enough so you have thrown in a few red herrings to stiffin...

pfredricks,

Now it occurs to me that Monte doesn't get it either. I am loosing my touch. I better leave the one liners to Henney Youngman.

And I never use the "L" word unless I'm in the privacy of my own home. Then I kick back, take off my clothes, and murmur it to a photo of Robert Byrd.

Mike, I take back that crack about you being a Democrat, that was cruel, rude, and tasteless.

Good lord Mike, look up humor, it's also in Websters. The "Fine For" joke goes back to vaudville, I remember it from "The 3 Stooges." I must be loosing my touch. Now I know how Lenny Bruce felt just before the police arrested him. You gotta be a Democrat.

11 Miles in Flip Flops! Quick call Guiness.

Joe Bartel converted me to Sandals two years ago, and I haven't had a blister or sore feet since. Surprisingly, the cactus have never been a problem.

True Freedom

I think an expression of true freedom, and comfort of ones self, is exemplified by an over weight man or women who has the courage to appear in public in a bikini. They do so because it feels good to them. My discomfort in appearing nude in view of children lies more within my own upbringing. I once...

A Token

Certainly your apologies are excepted Joe, but perhaps a small token of humility might make give it some more impact. After all, you did humiliate me in front of thousands of readers, including my children, and at least one X-wife. I was thinking in terms of a yearly award named after me, yea, that ...

The World's Foremost Authority, Needs To Know

Has anyone been to the trailhead on Mount Peeley lately? I'm taking a firned up in the morning and I have no idea what the road conditions are? It's very unlike me to not be on that Forest Road on a monthly basis, but I've been busy.

Thanks a heap

Interesting idea Rodney, I've always preferred the pair of socks myself, (calf length) but I'm open to try anything. Damn Susan just came in the room, gotta go.

Defenseless

I'm sure many are going to reply to this post, but someones got to be the first. Keeping a loaded pistol in the bottom of your pack, unless you have a concealed weapons permit is illegal and stupid, that's not what I do, I carry mine in a holster on my pack. I think most who carry a weapon do the sa...

"Weather its getting a little lost or not wearing the right gear or whatever the adversity" Say, is this a reference to me wearing Spandex?

I'm so confused, there must be a parallel, yet invisible thread on this website; OK guys where the secret button?

The Game is Afoot

It's that time of the year, the number of posts are down and so is the temperature. Were is everyone? Hiking at last. For me, tomorrow starts about 8 months of the most perfect hiking anywhere in the world. Have fun everyone, play safe.

Lycra! why I wouldn't be seen dead in Lycra. Perhaps you are refering to my fondness of Spandex, the hefty fellows friend. A nice, brown, Ultra Suede hunting cap, topping off a yellow, "Wet Look" slicker with a fresh pair of electirc blue Spandex hiking shorts and were talking the height of Arizona ...
