@Bradshaws
This reminds me of the "How to Hike Manual."
1. Align nose parallel with the trail.
2. Place either foot--your choice--in front of the other.
3. Repeat as necessary.

Had a Boise State football over to my house once for dinner and started talking about the blue turf. The stadium is right next to the Boise River and a few times a year a flock of geese or ducks mistake the turf for water. Once they commit they can't pull out of their dive. This guy told me that the services of someone who could scrape birds out of turf were required.

From the Grand Canyon Facebook page. I'm glad they're getting things cleaned up a bit.
Every March, just after spring equinox, park rangers spend a couple of days cleaning and repainting some of the most visible buttes and temples (as seen from the South Rim) of #grandcanyon Improvements in telescoping pole technology have made this activity possible.

It really nailed it. Ma and Pa watching every move I made, the teen daughter talking a mile a minute and their tween son inhaling everything in sight.

I think part of it might be slightly inappropriate. I think? Not sure. Certainly had me laughing though.

I've seen one of those in action: http://hikearizona.com/photo.php?ZIP=437723
Don't worry, when he brought out the French Wedge the camera was stowed.
