I am making my way through all the peaks to bag in the Cave Creek area and am deciding between Elephant Mountain and Quien Sabe for this weekend.
Does anyone have a route they could post getting to the Quien Sabe summit from Spur Cross Ranch TH. I don't think I have the vehicle to get to Seven Springs, etc...
Thanks in advance. Also, anyone that wants to come with is welcome.

Open the map and zoom in on the peak area (or a spot between the peak and the Spur Cross TH)
Right-click and a menu pops up. Under "Plot Routes In View" click on ALL.
There are several routes you could take. Or you could piece together different routes into your own by sending them to Route Manager.

@Jason Cleghorn
You would need to take Cottonwood and Skull Mesa Trail to Quien Sabe Trail and then summit from somewhere along there, or continue on Quien Sabe Trail until you reach the turn-off from the route I posted to the description page, I think you will be much happier with that route over some of the other approaches. The peak can be done from several approaches, but I think you will see the description route probably makes the most sense...Just a few more miles for you coming from Spur Cross, no biggie, Quien Sabe may be faint for sections in there..

Seven Springs Rd is not bad until you get past the Seven Springs TH/Camping area. They are motivated to keep the rd good to that point as it permits more people to camp.

Upon further review, it appears that Seven Springs Rd. doesn't look that bad. If I've gone past Castle Hot Springs resort in my Tiguan, I will probably be fine to get to that TH. Thanks for all of the input.

Piece of Cake to Seven Springs TH Jason....

Was at the Seven Springs TH just a couple of weeks ago. Four, um, mature ladies and a foofoo dog were getting into a Prius for the return trip to Scottsdale. You'll be fine.
