@sajor75
Did you click on the link in Joe's reply? It explains Route Scout.
Not sure how you download a route into your phone and use navigation, but this is one way to do it. You may be using another app that does something similar.

I went to the map section, found Derrik/Horton Loop trail and could not find the print option anywhere, do you need a premium acct to print?

"What you talkin' bout Willis?" You have a premium account. Everyone that registers has a premium account. There is only one account and it is a premium account. Everyone that has registered is equal in the eyes of HAZ.sajor75 wrote:. . .do you need a premium acct to print?
Anybody can make a hike harder. The real skill comes in making the hike easier.

Download is for gps devices such as Garmin eTrex, Oregon, etc.
You download the file on a desktop. Plug in your device via USB then drag the file to the device.
Phone App
"Route Scout - GPS Topo Mapper" is an app you download from Apple Store or Google Play. Transfer is wireless.
There is a video in the first post of >>> this thread <<< that explains importing.
If you try and "download" a gpx file on an iPhone or iPad you only get the contents of the file on your screen. Hence "Route Scout" above.
