This is a great opportunity http://hikearizona.com/photoset.php?ID=31571 that shouldn't be passed up for anyone that can hack the hike through dry heat. Aside from a great adventure, Dave is very knowledgeable on the area. He does fib a bit on a 800 ft waterfall that dwindles about 65 per mile until you reach it.

Lots of shade on the S Bass, especially this close to the summer solstice? I think I'd stick with your first impression.
