Water in the Superstitions? Peralta loop or nearby?

Hey everyone! I'm thinking of doing a NYE backpacking trip in the Superstitions, specifically on the Peralta loop. I saw water reports, semi-recent, for Piper Spring. Is Piper Spring by Pinon Camp? Anyone know if there is water there now? Also, funny, two different people reported vastly different levels of water on the same day. Thanks in advance for the tips.

If still unsure on the location
- tap the Options menu then tap Official
That should decipher the location.

Nobody wants to razz The_Flying_Sack_of_Feathers more than I. It is a debatable point of view.
Personally I use the highest Gallons+ for Horton Springs. My photo has a link to hikerdw's photo showing how it's three feet deep. Perhaps one could pump water at an olympic rate and it would replenish.

At any rate(yes, intended), a huge thanks to MM(iPhone) & The_Flying_Sack_of_Feathers for recording more water observations than the rest of the community.

follow the route I gave you on AZHG. pinyon camp has standing water after rain, that is all.. and why I did not include it in my advice.
