I've contemplated adding a portable fireplace to my fanny pack. Curious if anyone is using the Snow Peak - Pack & Carry Fireplace Kit?

snowpeak.com list the weight at 31.5 lbs

Whereas Amazon not only cuts the price 18% but the weight too

I've been using this unit for quite some time. I use a Stansport fanny pack and have to bungee cord it on "piggy-back style". Of course the 31.5 # weight is a misprint, as it is actually 31.5 kilos or just over 69 pounds. Small price to pay for having the ability to roast marshmallows or a leg of lamb like a pro.

This is why we have our dogger, it's the only thing she has to carry. It only weights a pound less than she does and she's never complained. Such a good doggy!
