No, it did not.
On the hike description, if you scroll down and see the Historic Fire Perimeters on the right side, and click on the 2020 Sears Fire, a GPS file of the route and the fire will load. The route is outside the fire.

Really, I don't recall seeing any fire damage in that area? I've hiked from that trailhead once this year and have ridden by it a couple other times too.

You're right. The years fly by when you get old.
I was recalling the Cave Creek Complex fire. I remember stopping at the Bronco TH many times to use the "facilities" and seeing the fire damage.
