Blue Tank and Cane Spring

Hey Everyone!

I am planning a hike to Blue Tank canyon in one week and was wondering if anyone has hiked it or Cane Spring Canyon? My friend and I are going to kayak to the mouth of Blue Tank and then hike up and over Sheep Mountain and up Cane Spring and then down Blue Tank. Should be fun, just wondering if anyone has ventured/explored much in that area. Love the site and the people on it!

I've been in the upper and lower ends of Cane Spring Canyon. The lower end is a jungle for a short section near Hidden Water Spring. It seems doable end to end, but I don't know for a fact.

I'm as curious as you on Blue Tank Canyon, especially the lower end. I've read or been told by somebody that has done it but I can't remember a thing

I certainly look forward to hearing about it

I'm bringing my digital so there will be photos. We are taking three days to do this so there will be plenty of time to scramble around and check things out. Can't wait to see the views from the top of Sheep (if I get to the top).

I've eyed that bad boy from nearly every angle.
If I get a chance I'll look through my photos. There's either a choice side or corner, but I can't remember which.
