There were hardly any apples a few weekends ago. Last year, there were plenty to go around! Mary

Though the area did get a lot of rain the trees also need a good frost at the right time and I don't think that happened earlier this year. The trees are old and may be near the end of their life span.

There seemed to be plenty of apples last year. Yes, it is true that the trees are heavily overgrown and are about done. I let you guys know in about a week what I find.

It think it would be a great project to sneak in there some weekend with a bunch of pruning saws and some fertilizer, and some professional advice, and prune a bunch of those trees back. FS would probably holler if they caught you, but it would sure give those trees a second wind.

Hi All,
I am new to the site, but have been hiking my whole life. My Father, brother, and I are hiking this on 11.4 - 11.6. I first hiked Revis in 1990. The ranch house was still there at the time. It is too bad that was taken because of carelessness. I really love this hike... How is the creek flowing this year?
