Looking for VBWannabe

Post by sandollar13 »

Hi. Need to ask VBWannabe a question about a hike. He or she is not listed in members list. Can anyone help me find him?

Whew, that was about a quarter million e-mails ago. If I only kept better records, darn it! I know he lives in some small town east. Boy, that's not much help

You might try VBWannabe@aol.com

It'll probably just get rejected but it's worth a try. Also if you have aol you might do a search through members. I haven't been on AOL for like 8 years but I think you can do that

Also, if you have a question about the Cherry Creek Ruins. :P Just ask here. I don't believe those are any of the ones featured in Falcon guide. He said it was a full day hike. Keep in mind that whole section near the Sierra Anches is closed due to fire restrictions in the Tonto Forest.

cherry creek ruins

Post by sandollar13 »

Hi TJ. Thanks for that. I wanted to hike to those ruins. Can you help me with the location? I was at the Pueblo Canyon ones and Workman Creek ones this weekend, just before the closures. Would like to get a fix on the Cherry Creek ones and Any info on the Devil's Chasm ones would be appreciated. I know where to park for Devil Chasm but have no idea what the trail is like. I am just in awe of those people & what they did, as I am sure others are too.
I am new to this club and hope to be able to contribute my share, although just from viewing, I know I do not have 1/10 the time spent in the field as others that post on this board.

I can't believe I just found this post! VBWannabe was me! It was before I actually registered with HAZ. Anyway, I know this question was posed a long time ago but we do hike in Cherry Creek still. That particular hike was a tough one. My Mom was interested in our hiking experiences and I wrote a story about it and sent it to her. Much to my dismay, she sent it to every family member around. But, then I discoved that I do like to write about fun things more than I do technical writing which is what I do every day. I have more photos if anyone is interested. Just email us!
