There is quite a bit of water after a good rain. I've seen water seeping and creeks running up to a week after heavy rains. There's water seeping on the west end maze just before the actual ridge begins. Nothing much on the actual ridge. On the east end is the best when you're near the sisters in the undefined valley where everybody gets lost. Not only running water here but plenty of decent pools linger.

Heiro is doable and there's a nice tree to stash under on the west of end of the peak maze. If you did that and stashed up Hog you could possibly go with little to no water if you know your abilities. Though setting the two caches would be a serious undertaking :o
