Ariviapa Canyon
I got a 3 day permit to go back into Ariviapa at the end of October. Doing this as a solo trip. Anything I need to know, other than the fact my feet will be wet?

Re: Ariviapa Canyon
Anything you need to know? Well, firstly, the spelling is Aravaipa.
Secondly, look carefully at weather forecast to see if there will be any rain in the area before you leave. You don't want to be setting up camp in a flashflood area.

This is an old thread, but base871's 10/18/2008 TR agrees:charkellyaz18 wrote:you will be going in perfect tempertures i assume and yeh always check the forecast.
did this as a solo trip and spent the night in the canyon, was perfect conditions. Warm during the day, and a bit chilly at night. Didnt see any animals really, but was still well worth it!
