Re: Hike in Superstition
Bluff Spring loop and Black Mesa loop are both good options. They are both about 8-9 miles.

Re: Hike in Superstition
TrailDEX is perfect for this type of inquiry. Go to TrailDEX to Wilderness and select Superstition. Then go to the far right and select your minimum and maximum mileage. This will give you a list of hikes. Try it, you'll like it.casadblu wrote:Looking for a new hike in the Superstitions - have done Flatiron, Peralta - need about 5-7 miles - any ideas!
Anybody can make a hike harder. The real skill comes in making the hike easier.

I like the First Water trail. When I went there was quite a bit of water as well. It is about a 6 mile hike

One I really want to do on the way to this is Aylor's Arch up on Palamino Mtn. Looks like a really cool spot in the supes.rally_toad wrote:Bluff Spring loop and Black Mesa loop are both good options. They are both about 8-9 miles.

I didn't care as much for the Black Mesa loop. I would suggest if you're going in that area to take Lost Dutchman straight out 4-5 miles, at the end it is just beautiful.rally_toad wrote:Bluff Spring loop and Black Mesa loop are both good options. They are both about 8-9 miles.
