deleting all routes & waypoints

Post by azdesertfather »

I have a Garmin Colorado 400t and I cannot figure out how to delete all the routes and waypoints from the Garmin.

If you hold both of the silver buttons on the front when you turn it on with the power button, it asks if you want to erase all data ... but when I pick yes it deletes the preferences in all my settings but all the data is still there!! (Just what does "delete all data" mean, anyway?!?!)

Can't seem to find anything online about it either. Any help would be much appreciated!!!

Yeah, I wish it were that easy on the Colorado!! Maybe there is a "duh" answer like that for the Colorado, but I've looked through every menu and can't find it. I've read through their manual and can't find it either.
