Trail Graffitti
I usually hike a trail every morning (It helps to get the brain going). Lately, I have noticed more and more spray painted graffiti on or near the trails. (and no, I'm not talking about those dots going up the Echo Canyon and the Cholla Trail). However, this morning, I discovered something totally new. I was hiking down from Look Out Mountian (North Phoenix, near Shaw Butte and North Mountian) and I saw the strangest thing. On a knoll on the north slope of the mountian someone had poured a concrete pad about 2'x3'x4", with an inscription of what appeared to me to be the name of someone's dog. It wasnt just a pad of cement, but someone had poured it there so it was permanantly affixed to a rock. Has anyone alse ever seen anything strange like this (or not like this).

concrete pad
It sounds to me like a grave marker.
