johnlp and Dave1 have hammered out over 100 days! consecutive hiking and I'm beginning to wonder if they will ever stop?
A couple years ago I got in a fraction of what they are doing. My now pathetic streak was mainly a mental challenge. Neither of these guys seems shaken yet and I'm in awe as each day passes.

After a hundred days it looks like I could maybe hang with Dave on Squaw on his third ascent

And to make it even more impressive, they aren't just doing a mile or two a day, they are racking up some serious miles and elevation to boot.... :worthy: Of course, some of that can be blamed on the kind of company they're keeping, getting dragged into the GC on day hikes and such....

Yeah, jobs? I'm lucky to get 45 min of biking in the a.m. on weekdays. You won't see me doing much this year. I have way too much on my plate. A lot of yardsales in my future.
I do have a 25 day Grand Canyon river rafting trip in the fall to look forward to, thankfully! But I doubt I will do very much hiking--just here and there on random weekends. I ride my bike up a hill every morning, if I make time for it that is.

Has anyone taken a look at the one Hiker who has managed to stay quietly in the Background? I'll give you a hint. Her avatar is in the Reptile/Amphibian family....

PLUS
John keeps up on coffee roasting and will hike with anybody!
Dave considers himself a beginning runner and he'll go the distance for a good hike!
