Another hiker was to join me but had to drop out due to landing a new job in Flagstaff/ Grand Canyon. So, I'm on my own. The plan was a loop/ shuttle hike up the Finger Rock Trail over to the Window, and down the Ventana Trail, returning by car to the Finger Rock TH. I figure, this is a beautiful time of year in the Pusch, so it is a great hike to do. It's also a tough one.
I plan to skip the peak, since I want to do Kimball via Pima Canyon, and it's too early for the also previously suggested Catalina SP to Mt Lemmon. There has actually been a fair amount of snow, and there may still be some up there in 2 weeks.
