Sunset Pass - Harquahala (Thu, 3/7 @ 0800-1600)
Similar to last week's venture in the lower end of Brown's Canyon ( http://hikearizona.com/decoder.php?ZTN=17594 ), but a few miles further west in the range ( http://hikearizona.com/map.php?MY=3249&M=6 ). Barring 4x4 availability at either end (I don't have it), it would be a 3.3 mile jeep trail, a 2.3 mile wash walk, a 1.0 mile 700 aeg climb to Sunset Pass, a 1.6 mile -1000 aeg descent, then 3.4 miles of jeep trail to the end. Total intended distance 11.8 miles, 1900 aeg. (Which means it will be closer to 12.5 and 2300 -- you know how that goes. ;) ) Looking for up to 3 hike partners ...
