Friday, August 9.
Moonlight ascent to the land of elk and hoodoos.
Beverages optional.
Leaving HAZfest after dinner sometime. It's about a half mile walk across the meadow to get there, then the climb up to the four-leafed peaks. If the moon sets in time and it's not cloudy, there might even be some meteors up there.
Note: due to injury, 9L will not actually be on this hike.

I'm not sure what my spirit animal is, but I'm confident it has rabies.

Man, that fine print is small. I'm in. What time are we calling dinner?
Understand, when you eat meat, that something did die. You have an obligation to value it - not just the sirloin but also all those wonderful tough little bits.

Time is a constraint of the workweek and of the city. When camping, we will do what we want when it feels right.beterarcher wrote:What time are we calling dinner?

I'm an early eater, I'll probably head out quite a bit before sunset.
