Superstition Ridgeline
13.1 mile half marathon from Peralta Th, Fremont Saddle, Robbers Roost, Peak 5057, Ridgeline, Peak 5024 and finishing up at Mining Camp TH. Earn your 13.1 sticker the hard way. 6:30am meet up at Mining Camp. Figure out shuttle arrangement from there.
This is my gym. I have to travel down a bumpy road to get there. There are no treadmillls, no machines, and no personal trainers. I walk..I run..I breathe the fresh air. I can go any time I want, as much as I want and there is no membership fee.

Re: Superstition Ridgeline
The day was perfect, the views amazing, the hike grueling. Not enough long distance training on my part. My legs felt like they were on the verge of collapse. The hike down Siphon felt slow, and yet we were passing people if only by our sheer determination to reach the trailhead. We hit Fremont Saddle, Robbers Roost, Peak 5057 and the Ridgeline while bypassing 5024 and Flatiron.

Re: Superstition Ridgeline
@Rick Vincent
Yes my wife asked why I did not call to tell you I was running behind. Of course I said we did not have each others numbers. Well I hope you guys had a great hike. I ended up doing Black top Mesa for the first time. The weather was great, from the top I could see peak 5057 and was wondering if you guys had made it that far yet.

Re: Superstition Ridgeline
Wives often make good observations. Two heads are better than one, but if you can't have both, you're better off with just hers. (You don't have to take my work for it, I'm sure you've already been so informed.Widowmaker wrote:Yes my wife asked why I did not call to tell you I was running behind.
