Margies Cove Trail, AZ :: Passenger Car Accessible?
Anyone know if this trail is accessible with a passenger car? Is the dirt graded or do you need high clearance to get through washes or rises and the like? Thanks, Eric

Two years ago. Some guy hiking a book made me drive my car to the trail head. It was a little rough on my caddy but it made it.

There are a couple of small washes to cross when you head south from the main dirt road. The main road coming in from 85 at South Woods Rd. intersection is fine. You should have no problem.
An important note is when you go east on S. Woods Rd. from 85 you will cross a cattle guard and then you will turn left immediately to a road that goes N. alongside 85. I missed this the first time.
After going N. you will see a big a water tank, turn E. and Margies Cove road will be the first marked road you can turn S. on after you pass the power lines.
Have fun
