I really enjoyed the film last night. They did an excellent job with all the research and put together a captivating story while showing off the beauty of Arizona. This is a fascinating piece of Arizona history and I highly recommend seeing it at the next showing in June. I might go again! And thank you to the creative team behind the film for sticking around last night for the Q&A. I learned a lot and look forward to my first trip to the Powers Garden and Cabin.

It was captivating. Thx Chumley for bringing it to our attention as an event to share with others.

The thing with this type of story is there are always so many more questions too. It was interesting to have relatives of the parties involved in the actual event in attendance.
For me, sometimes it's just as much about the journey as the destination.
Oh, and once in awhile, don't forget to look back at the trail you've traveled.

If you missed this event three years ago ... this movie is now available on the youtubes. Dial it up sometime. It's fascinating history.
