Hi all,
Seems a fair amount of you have done the loop portion of the hike. How is the route along the River from Thunder River to Deer Creek? Is the route easy to find? Is there a lot of exposure in these three miles?

There is a gate on 67 south of Jacob Lake just after the turn for 461 which takes you west to 22. Since you're coming from Kanab, it doesn't matter. Just take 22 from there.
I'm not sure what my spirit animal is, but I'm confident it has rabies.
