In response to Topozone bit the dust

I noticed that this weekend. I liked the versatility and the search feature, primarily. I have been using the HAZ topos as well, but without the search function for map features, I can't use it for as much as I used topozone. Guess it is time to ante up for the TOPO! software...

Also changed the Weather Station finder over to a Spring finder
Might consider adding a Spring report feature that can be added into triplogs then plotted out on map.

The updated map search no longer has the option for "Arizona only". And sorting by "Miles to Map Center" isn't working correctly either, as there are results from multiple states with the same distances.

Not sure if this is a work in progress or a glitch.

(Might belong in haz update thread too? Feel free to move if there's a better category for it).

a mini how-to shows for repeat users now when you click on the search cell initially or the X to clear icon

map search... sorting by "Miles to Map Center" isn't working

mileage column sort on the map is sometimes buggy
- seems to be on the first search but I haven't pinned it to that yet
- in my experiences clicking the search cell or magnifying glass icon to requery always works on second attempt... no?

No, it's a grizzly bear grabbing a full-grown person. Real wilderness has grizzlies.

The Orange Search atop all pages now supports a near me feature

- Only works on mobile devices and laptop/desktop in Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
- While it currently works on forum pages the style in the "miles to my area" bar will take 2-4 weeks for your browser to flush old code out of your cache. Simply press Ctrl+F5 on a forum page to force cache flush.
- Mobile devices are precise. Laptop/desktop gets location from your IP and may be off ~30 miles.
