I just went in to a small store called Tempe Sales Co. It's a hole in the wall fabric store that seems to have everything you can image! I found 1/4" closed cell foam padding for $7/ yard. I bought a piece that was 6' x 25" and it was $3.70! If you need a great deal on a sleeping pad, get over there. When you walk in the front door, work your way to the back left corner of the store (south west corner for those that aren't directionally challenged). You will see if on the shelves in different thicknesses.

Re: SCREAMIN' deal on sleeping pads
Just a side note. This stuff isn't as nice or durable as the pad that I bought from Gossamer Gear...but heck for this price. I can buy a new one every six months or so and save money in the long run.

Re: SCREAMIN' deal on sleeping pads
I used to buy Neoprene from there when I ran a car customizing shop in the late 80's / early 90's. The prices are awesome cause they buy in bulk. Beware though as you can really end up buying more crap than you need cause everything seems so cool. You can bargain with them on higher priced items and if you're buying in bulk ;) I'm not absolutely sure but it seems like if you have a business license you get a small discount too.

Re: SCREAMIN' deal on sleeping pads
I'm not sure I could have negotiated my $3.70 purchase, but if someone wanted to buy a BUNCH of sleeping pads I suppose you could work something. My wife and I bought all the fabric for the remodel on our vintage Popup camper there...I love that store!
