HAZ Viewing by non HAZ members

Would like to confirm: If I issue a personal email and attach a copy & pasted HAZ link to a photoset/hike desc/triplog, can those on my email open these HAZ link(s) and view them without first being or needing to become a registered HAZ member?

No, they have to join HAZ now. I used to do that all the time, and I recently discovered that a non-HAZ member is not able to view my pics without registering.

I sent one Friday to a non member...it was a Coal Canyon photo...my friend then proceeded to become a member.

What are the personal info requirements for just signing-up for HAZ guest status? Can a HAZ guest view personal email linked pic sets/hike descs/triplogs?

I was working on the photoset page a couple weeks ago and forgot to reset the permissions. It should be open to all now. Thanks for the heads up. If you send somebody a link to a triplog (the ones that are highlighted in green) they should be able to view it. You can always logout to see what you can view. Hike descriptions are open too.

As for the requirements to register on HAZ. Very few and it's probably among the LAST sites on earth to not sell or spam member data.

Does a guest on HAZ have permission to view a member's profile page(s) if the profile page link is emailed to the non-member (guest)?

yes, you can always logout and see for yourself too

Aside from posting data, viewing events and pack lists I think the entire site is guest viewable.

I still remember my password, though, because occasionally I am not using my own computer, or I get a new one, etc.
