Hey all,
My group and I are considering backpacking in to Angel Basin to stay a few nights from Roger's Trough. We were going to base camp there and do dayhikes from there, and explore. I wanted to get opinions for things to do in the area, maybe places to go see, canyons to explore, streams to follow, summits to reach, etc, that are nearby. We've been through that area but didn't have much time to explore much so we're going back and staying a couple days. I was also wondering if there is any way to get to the top of Cimaron Mt from that area that doesn't require technical climbing. I was considering the area around Rough Canyon and further north along the Frog Tanks Trail as possible areas to look into. Any suggestions for things to see and explore would be greatly appreciated.
