I know many of you were aware of my unhappiness at my job over the last couple of years. It's been tough, and HAZ has been more than just a fun distraction, it's been a way for me to keep sane.
Well, I found myself a brand-new-job - actually 2!
The unfortunate side effect is going to be significantly less time to keep up with the antics and craziness here at HAZ. I'm not going away, but I wanted to let you all know how instrumental they'd been in my surviving with most of my wits intact.
:thanx:

I hope you'll be able to check in on a semi-regular basis at least... I enjoy reading your posts!
I know what you mean about HAZ helping to maintain one's sanity (mine is tenuous at best...). Good luck in your new venture(s); looking forward to hearing about them later.
So glad Jude and I were able to meet you! Have never seen a picture of you where you did not have a BIG smile. Still deciding if I like the green shirt and green cap matching outfit
The best to you on our new employment.

Purely accidental. I swear. Actually, if you saw the get-up in person you'd realize that the shirt is a painful, bright and obnoxious color, and that the hat used to be a darker, more mellow shade until repeated washings just plain bleached it out. Fear not. The Wendy is still all about diversity, color and fun!

Actually I am taking a bit of a break from the intensive GIS stuff and working on my skills as a designer/landscape architect. It's a great opportunity, but I'm gonna have some serious withdrawls!

No greater honor has ever been bestowed upon a humble hiker. I'm not going away altogether... but it'll be hard not to check in with you crazy nuts all the time!

Best Wishes Wendy. You have improved HAZ forever - you will always be a legend.
Don't know about the common-law marriage thing, but HAZ is definitely a spousal equivalent.
