Is anyone interested in hiking the AZ Trail #22 this Friday and Saturday (Oct 18/19)? I'm looking to do the car shuttle thing, so would really love to find someone else who can also drive. The hike is 16 miles, which is a little long for me in 1 day, so was planning to backpack, and spend one night out.
I am a 47 year old male from Chandler, who is in decent shape. I consider myself an average speed hiker. There are 2 other friends who also wish to go. They are in their early 30's, so are probably in better shape than me. Neither one of them has a reliable car though, so we're looking for someone else to go who would be willing to drive.
Thanks,
Mark

Hi te-wa,
That's great! It will be good to go with someone who's been there before. We were planning on leaving the valley around 11am on Friday. One of my friends doesn't get off work until 10:30. Would that work out okay for you? I'll PM you my contact info, so we can figure out a good meeting place.

If no one else steps forward, let me know...I think a Front Wheel Drive can make it to Peeley and I would be willing to provide the Shuttle, but I won't do the Hike, I already have plans on Saturday....

Hi Outdoor Lover,
Thanks for the very generous offer, that is nice of you. We've decided to just postpone this trip until a later date, when hopefully one of our other friends with a 4WD can join us.
Thanks,
Mark
