Please forgive the repost. I am back in AZ and am hoping someone may have stumbled upon this camera.
On 2/19/12 I lost my Pentax Optio W90 camera in Red Hills Needle Canyon between Bull Pass trail and the "#5 Finally 4/16/1966" rock. The camera is black with green trim and has a short black webbing strap with a single orange stripe. I think I took my last photo at a pour-off .11 miles up-canyon from the rock. However, I searched the area intensely for two hours without success, so it may be further up canyon toward the Bull Pass Trail (I started at Bull Pass trail and traveled down canyon). I'm offering a $100 REWARD for return of the camera - it has my Battleship Mtn hike photos on it (among others).
If you find it, please contact me at yellowporcupine@gmail.com
Oh, and it is an underwater camera, so if it's lying at the bottom of a pool, it's still good.
PS - I think I also lost my map in the canyon, probably thrashing through brush along the stream bed. This was just not a good route for me that day........
I'm here until 11/25 - then I'll be back in January.
I'd still like to find this camera - the reward is still offered. Heck....keep the camera, I just want the darn memory card with the photos.

@Mr Squishy
Wow I hiked it last Saturday and did not see a camera. But then again I wasn't looking for one. Hope someone finds it, do you think it will still work?
I had a bush pick my pocket and steal my camera last time I went through this canyon, had to backtrack a half mile to find it hanging from a limb at hip level.
Hike Arizona it is full of sharp, pointy, ankle-twisting, HAZmaster crushing ROCKS!!
Hike Arizona it is full of sharp, pointy, shin-stabbing, skin-shredding plants!
Hike Arizona it is full of striking, biting, stabbing, venomous wildlife!
I am returning to AZ on Jan 13 - the camera is waterproof, so I'm hoping it still may be found - all I want is the memory card with my Battleship Mountain pics.

The camera has been FOUND! Unbelievable! The finder was able to track me down because of a patch on my pack that was visible in my Battleship Mtn summit selfie. The patch was the Alaska Mountain Rescue Group - the photo was posted on their Facebook page and a friend of mine saw it and tagged me.

Hey Mr Squishy I tried to send you a PM and you don't exist. Anyhow I noticed that you are from Kodiak. My step father lived up there at Brookers Lagoon off the Chiniak road and I summered up there. A lot of family history good and tragic on Kodiak. I'm even a member of a couple of Kodiak FB groups. Someday I'll return. Ciao, Alston.....oh BTW congrats on the camera.
@Alston_Neal
I do indeed exist - don't know why a PM would not have gone through. Hope you can make it back someday. You won't recognize Narrow Cape - there's a frickin launch complex out there now. Ruined it.
