Creating Waypoints

Sorry if this has been asked, but I did a quick search on the forums and checked the FAQ and could not quickly find and answer:

Does anyone know how to load waypoints to a GPS route on Route Scout? Last weekend, I figured out how to add a waypoint while en route by 'eye-balling' the topo; but what I'd like to do it is be able to load exact coordinates and then create waypoints from that.

It would be good to know both, but I'm particularly interested in before.

Before a hike you would create a route in "Route MGR", save it to "Route Cloud", then import in "Route Scout".

During a hike currently has 2 options, current location and drag to location.

Joe, thank you so much... that answered my questions and then some! It's gonna take some time to figure out / fine-tune all of the bells and whistles, but I've got the waypoints down, along with some of the other basics.
