Is it really possible?
We have a dear friend that claims to have jogged rim to rim to rim in twelve hours. We do not wish to doubt him, but is this really possible?

one of my employees does R-R in seven hours, but she said it's more enjoyable slower
sidhayes says he's done R-R in under 3 hours
think of a marathon, what do they do that in, the corridor trails are like big ramps, it's not like hiking Camelback

so by that R-R-R in under 12 is very possible, I guess, not for me!Grand Canyon rim to rim crosssing in under three hours(2:52)

My husband has done it from south to north in 9 hours and north to south in 7 hours. That is with a day rest enbetween. He will try rim to rim to rim next spring. We are heading up to the canyon today with a hike tomorrow. he will be practising for the Rim to Rim in 3 weeks. I will be just hiking one of the trails. He will be going down Kaibab and up Bright Angel...
