A "trick tank" is a water collection system involving a collection pad and a storage system. AZ Game and Fish installs and maintains them for wildlife. This one is a short hike off the AZT. From "Sass" and "Paperweight" in April, 2017:
"We could see the fencing off the trail and could not find a well traveled way to access it. So we bushwhacked up a ridge towards the fencing encountering many prickly grasses then easily climbed through the fencing to access the water. It is a large water catch system that appears to fill in tanks beneath the system and water is accessible in a cement holding tank. The cement tank was full to the top with water and full of light greenish water surrounded by dozens of bees. It filtered fine and tasted good. I would certainly use this source again and it is closer to the trail then the previous source. This is also a Arizona Game & Fish project that includes a game camera pointed at the water. "
