Description: very similar to Broad-leaved Gilia (G. latifolia). But G. latifolia is a western AZ and southeastern CA species. If Anne Orth-Epple is correct on p. 200 plate 606, she has the most eastern documented example of G. latifolia. In Maricopa County, this is most likely G. flavocincta (lesser yellowthroat Gilia).
